This famous road in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park overlooks mountains, high pastures (high stubble), lakes, balloons and forests. What a wonderful road!

Gérardmer Lake is the largest natural lake in the Vosges. It is a lake of glacial origin which is located 660 meters above sea level, in the town of Gérardmer, near the city center. In winter, the lake, frozen, is visible from the slopes of the ski resort, a superb sight!

Remiremont is called the "Belle des Vosges", which suits it very well! 

Nancy was the capital of the Duchy of Lorraine until the middle of the 18th century. Its historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
